- Meters & Timers
Meters and timers can be operated by a number of means. The simplest are coin operated where the insertion of one (or more) coins starts the timer which then runs the device being controlled for a fixed length of time. Token operated timers can be specified as an alternative to coin operated.
More complex meters and timers are operated by cards. These can be simple swipe cards which have a fixed value or smart cards which are programmed by the operator.
