Why won't the Sigma Console send time to the remote units? Check all coaxial cable connections. Ensure crimp terminals are correctly terminated with no loose joints. Ensure outer earth braid is correctly terminated and not shorting to signal cable.
Why can't more than 15 minutes be sent to the remote? Check that option 6 (Lockout) has not been set.
Why does the remote unit flash "00" and when time is sent the console displays "CLEAN"? The remote unit has been set work in "clean mode" to indicate that the bed needs cleaning after use. Pressing the Start button on the remote resets clean. To disable the clean mode re-programme the fan run-on for that remote.
When the console is switched on it displays "ERROR". What do I do? This indicates a communication error. Press reset button (R) to discover which remote is not communicating. Check all wiring to this remote and ensure that no subsequent works have damaged the coaxial cable.
When time is sent to a remote the console displays "CHECK". Why? The console cannot communicate with that remote. If this happens to all remotes check coaxial wiring from the console. If no wiring faults, check console. If message only occurs when sending time to one particular remote check coaxial wiring to that remote. If no wiring faults, check remote.
Can I set the fan over-run for as long as I like? Yes. Up to 59 minutes. Option 5 controls this time.
Why won't the load switch on after I have installed the remote? The remote has voltage free contacts. Ensure there is an input connection to the relay.
