| Why is the coin accepted but no time given? |
Check options 31 to 42 are set up correctly. These control the amount of time a particular coin is given. If set to zero for a valid coin then no time will be given. (Refer to page 23 in manual). |
| Why when I put in a 50p do I get the time for £1? |
Make sure options 55 to 60 are set up correctly. Use option 60 to check what number each coin has been allocated (e.g. Coin 2) and then check this with options 55 to 60 to make sure these agree. (Refer to pages 19, 20 and 23 in manual). |
| Can I set a delay so my customers have time to get changed? |
Yes. Use options 00 & 01. These will give you "pre time" in minutes and seconds. (Refer to page 15 in manual). |
| Why does the Wyvern 2000 only give a maximum of 5 minutes, and all the coins after get rejected? |
The timer is factory set to "lock out" after 5 minutes. Options 16 & 17 change this. (Refer to page 17 in manual). |
| Can I get the Wyvern 2000 to tell me when the fan is on? |
Yes. Option 25 should be set to ON. This will then display "cool" (Refer to page 16 in manual). |
| I have all the options set up correctly for the time each coin gives (options 31 to 42) but it is running in hours instead of minutes. Why? |
Option 22 changes this. Make sure that this is set up correctly. To operate in hours and minutes set option 22 ON, to operate in minutes and seconds set option 22 OFF. (Refer to page 12 in manual). |

Yes, up to 59 minutes. Options 02 & 03 control this time (Refer to page 16 in manual). |
| I want to warn my customers when their time is about to run out, how do I do this? |
Use options 18, 19, and 20. (Refer to page 17 in manual). Option 20 determines how long the buzzer is sounded for in seconds and options 18 and 19 set the time that the buzzer starts. This start time is the time before the timer turns off. For example the factory setting is for the buzzer to sound for 5 seconds, and to come on 1 minute before time is up. Options 18, 19 and 20 are set as follows:-
Option 18 - Minutes before end - Set for 01
Option 19 - Secs before end - Set for 00
Option 20 - Duration of buzzer - Set for 05 |

| I have installed the timer but the display does not illuminate. Why? |
Check that the live and neutral are in the correct positions in terminal block CN3. (Refer to figure 2 on page 4 of the manual). |
